Acupuncture Externship

Come learn by doing. Enjoy the culture and beauty of Lake Atitlan in the highlands of Guatemala while gaining experience in a Western medical setting. Additional training and clinical externships are also possible in a Naturopathic clinical setting.

Acupuncturists and students of Chinese medicine will be trained and oriented to a truly complementary role - treating pain, stress and other commonly presenting ailments – alongside their Western medical counterparts. This is the invaluable experience so sought after by practitioners in North America – yet so difficult to obtain - made possible by the openness of the Guatemalan people and the trust, good-will and solid reputation earned by the Calacirya Foundation and the Teishin Institute.
